The Education Coordinator assists the Education Manager for EVS and Patient Transport with onboarding, training and education of all environmental services staff, patient transport staff, and managers. The Education Coordinator
will help guide, design, develop, evaluate, and implement new innovative education materials. The position is responsible for assisting with the coordination of staff training, training materials, development, staff retention,
and patient experience, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as well as Joint Commission regulations and other regulatory compliance training. Work with team to help Develop EVS and Patient Transport policies and procedures and leads and/or contributes to department quality initiatives and programs. The EVS Education Coordinator may evaluate the performance
standards of environmental service's staff and promote and ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments. ANDAND and areas that relate
