As an an avid and lifelong learner, I will put my heart and soul into the position of advising and instructing students at McNeese State University.  With the skill set, work ethic, and passion for education that I possess, I am confident that I will meet and exceed the expectations of the role as Academic Advisor and Assistant Instructor of Orientation. I am willing to learn the details of the position with a focused mindset and positive attitude. I am commited to surpassing expectations by utilizing the technology, educational, and people skills I am privileged to have learned. Serving alongside the enrollment management division will be a privilege. I am committed to serve with excellence, while collaborating with colleagues as well as working to complete tasks and duties indepentantly. I bring a well-rounded resume and am qualified to flourish at this position. Much of my work experience correlates and aligns with the job duties. I look forward to bringing my skills and talents to the office each day and also to on-campus and off-campus collegiate events which will require my service.


I will embrace it as an honor and work diligently to help new and veteran students navigate life as a student at McNeese State University.  As the mother of a recent McNeese graduate, I know the benefits of attending this outstanding university and will work to help all students recognize the privileges and responsibilities afforded to all students. I love and appreciate the many facets of the university system. From Music to Health and Fitness to the Science/Technology/Engineering/Math departments to the Liberal Arts. I love it all. I love learning from each field of study and love participating in various events from music performances to social and athletic events.  I look forward to associating with the many administrative departments such as Honors College, Athletics, Registrar's Office, Admissions and Recruiting, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Testing Services and especially the International Programs of McNeese. 


I have a heart to help others reach their full potential and see this position as a gateway to share my gifts and talents and rich life experiences with the students on my caseload, empowering the next generation of world leaders. I am blessed to be a local Louisiana native who has been privileged to travel extensively and gain insight from much of the global spectrum.
