I couldn't get into GameDev when i lived in Kazakhstan, the market was / is too poor for this industry and when i moved to US i needed some time to figure out all immigration process and stability for me and my wife , it took me little longer to do different types of jobs ( including tattoos , just because i am an artist) to get to this point when i am giving it try. I don't have education in GameDev but i am a good artist and i do have understanding of Blizzard's games style and some knowledge of making video games myself. I know there are candidates that just graduated exactly for this and they might be better option than me , but if you'll give me a chance to work even for trial period , very soon i can prove that you wouldn't regret it.
I am responsible adult who is married for 10+ years , handled immigration with no attorney and language when everything just started , doesn't afraid of any work , has no drama and taking problems as challenge . If i am getting any chance to start work with Blizzard , i promise that you going to see i'll do my best.
I was self studying for Video Game Developing, learned how to create Characters (3d sculpting, texturing, rigging, skinning , animating) , importing avatar into Engine , putting collider ,scripting to make it play animations , created terrains and environment , setting up lights and cameras and then compiling the whole thing. I wanted to make simple games for App Store or PC at that time wasn't sure because i was focusing on learning tools on how to create indie games.
I currently live in Denver , CO , but if i'm getting this chance i'll move to Irvine ,CA next day.
