INTERNSHIPS

Performs supervised individual and group counseling, supervision, crisis intervention, and consultation. I observed and gained knowledge in a practical setting. Work with students on different necessities for example academic progress, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Apply knowledge of social concerns including but not limited to poverty, pregnancy, child abuse, gangs, and suicide.  I attended IEP, 504 Plans, and other meetings. Provided education, small group counseling, and crisis interventions. Maintain high standards of confidentiality and good judgment with a individual, small groups, and crisis interventions. I did my hours in a migrant program too in which I learned about students' cultures and different backgrounds with different necessities. 

Extra-curricular activities

Coach: I have good communication skills with students, reach players regarding the game's rules. Assisted athletes as a whole in improving physical conditioning and skills. At the same time, we focus on positive behavior, communication, and social and emotional skills. 

Folkloric Dance: in this position taught specific techniques, held rehearsals, and planned shows among teachers and students. Students and teachers learn to collaborate with others, work on their self-esteem, and respect others to reach the same goal.
