"NCBI is a renowned international leadership organization that builds leadership for Diversity resource teams and customized training in diversity, equity and inclusion skills on college campuses, community organizations, k-12 schools, corporations, government agencies and law enforcement worldwide" (ncbi.org).

  • Enacting Equity, co-founder, 2019-present. Enacting Equity is an organization that leads workshops on issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Focusing on educational institutions, workshops consist of exercises designed to build a safe and trusting environment in which difficult issues around social injustices can be explored.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training

  • Theatre of the Oppressed (T.O.), 2014-present. Created by Brazilian theatre practitioner Augusto Boal, T.O. consists of participatory techniques which engage participants in exploring potential solutions for overcoming oppression. Based on liberatory pedagogy, T.O. presents opportunities for role playing and rehearsing best practices in resisting oppression. T.O. gives communities an opportunity to openly dialogue about inequality and is a valuable tool for teaching Diversity and Inclusion.
  • T.O. Training at Brooklyn Acting Lab, Brooklyn, NY, August 2019. 3-day intensive training with Center for Theatre of the Oppressed co-founder Geo Britto.
  • Center for Theatre of the Oppressed, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June-July 2019. Earned 100-hour training certification.
  • Applied Theatre Center, T.O. Training, Greenville, SC, April 2019. 3-day intensive training in facilitating.
