I handled raw material from start to finish through a variety of different processes including:

• Sintering

• Machining

I also served as quality control and handled shipping and inventory management.

My job responsibilities included Inspecting support structures for defects or safety issues, Taking measurements and recording data about devices in the field to keep an updated database, Creating and maintaining an accurate and current map of Consumers power network, Learning and utilizing specialized computer systems for tracking and modeling purposes.

I helped start the company by installing and operating a sorting process weighing and inspecting grafoil tubes for sales, maintained inventory checklists and organizational systems, was instrumental in developing the LT1 metal ceramic tube process, maintained and ensured a safe environment for usage of nitric acid, and machined finished products to ensure they were up to quality conditions for sale to customers.

Maintained safe and consistent output by Calibrating electrical charging/discharging cabinets for cells, Monitoring the flow of materials from previous operations through our process, Degassing the cells to prepare them for a charge cycle, Maintaining equipment used to transport and store cells in progress, regular safety checks on all equipment, and operation of crane equipment for the purposes of storage and shipping.

• I work in the back area cleaning the equipment and have to know how to check for reasons why it stopped working in order to continue doing my job.

• Worked over summer maintaining the bottles department making sure the machines were in proper working order and taking care of the emptying and filling of the machines.
