Job Summary:

To support the Radiologist by calling critical results of exams to ER and Outpatient physicians, answering the call support line, working with over 30 facilities in facilitating their exams, and managing the priorities of the exams as they cross over.

Essential Functions:

* Documents all Critical/Urgent/and Clinically Significant and Unexpected Findings

*Call STAT reads and pertinent positives to our referring physicians on behalf of our radiologists. Ensure results are given to a health care professional who is accountable for the patient

*Answers the 800 calls in a professional maner and responds to referring providers and their staff, and client sites in a friendly manner

* Connects referring physicians to the Radiologist or Vice Versa on a 3-way chat and document, when necessary, the conversation

*Prioritizes STAT Ct and Ultrasound images in importance so that the radiologist are able to read the most important ones first.

*Problem solving for patients, referring physicians, technologists and radiologists

*Answer general questions around reporting and tests (as appropriate and within HIPAA guidelines)

• Collaborated with radiologists to provide high-quality imaging services, resulting in better patient outcomes.
• Performed advanced ultrasound techniques such as Doppler imaging to provide comprehensive diagnostic information for physicians.
• Enhanced image quality for accurate diagnoses with proper equipment calibration and settings adjustments.
• Educated patients on procedure details, provided instructions, and answered questions to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.
