JACOBS/Bevilacqua Research Corporation
01.2020 - 04.2022
Work for NASA, MDA, and Blue Origin
Design and 3D Print prototypes, functioning parts using PTC Creo, Fusion 360, and Magics using FDM, SLA, DED and SLM printing processes
Developed builds, QMPs, and qualifications using NASA-STD-6030
Materials printed: GrCop42 and 84, Ti64, 17-4PH, 316L, In718 and 625, Haynes214 and 230
NASA HR1, NASA JBK-75.
Manufacturing Engineer
RMS Surgical
06.2019 - 12.2019
Used PTC Creo (Pro E), Windchill, and Solidworks to design, build, and 3D print fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
Communicated with different customers to quote manufacturing processes (lathe, mill, EDM, and swiss) for large assemblies and small parts
Accomplished tight tolerances for equipment and tools in the medical field.
Mechanical Engineering Intern
Jordan Aluminum
05.2018 - 06.2019
Used Fusion 360 to create 3D floor plans, parts, tool and fabrication fixtures
Operated a Haas CNC and Dual Mitre Saw to run fabrication parts and performed routine quality checks on them
Used a MIG welder to create forklift structures to hold up thousands of pounds of stock aluminum
Wrote work instructions and conducted time studies for various operations throughout the plant to achieve higher efficiency
Used ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Mechanical Engineering Intern
ABB, Thomas & Betts
07.2017 - 08.2017
Used PTC Creo (Pro E) to review quality of drawings in ISO 9001 and create new drawings and parts, usually custom conduit connectors
Used critical thinking skills to solve problems in the lab environment such as designing an efficient process to test a new conduit connector.
Manufacturing Shop Assistant
CBU
01.2016 - 05.2019
Maintain and use shop equipment to help students with school projects
Includes: Writing G-code for CNC mill, lathe and plasma cutter
Creating setups for their lab classes
Teaching students how to use tools they’ve never used before, all while practicing safety operations and procedures.
Tutor
PTC
Students in, Creo (Pro E)
Teach students how to properly use equipment safely and efficiently
Providing insight for manufacturing their final project, a stirling engine.
Duck Gate
01.2019
Helped CBU’s biology department design a draw gate to capture wild ducks to track and collect data for migration patterns
Design was basic pen on paper
Measurements were made for the size of the gate required
Fabricated out of mild steel using the MIG welder
A simple latching mechanism was used to close the gate.
Printer
01.2014 - Current
Started out in High School with the Maker Bot school provided
Bought a printer in 2016 and began to create and print objects for personal use, professional use
Such as helping fellow classmates design a working 3D printed electric generator for their senior project
The advantages of using the printer for the electric generator was that it was lightweight, precise, faster than using the CNC mill, and made out of a special material to conduct electricity better than normal plastic
The hobby lead to getting my job at RMS Surgical and current position.
Teacher Assistant
01.2016 - 05.2019
Team captain
PTC
01.2017 - 01.2019
Initiate by creating entire design in, Creo, execute plan for design by controlling and splitting up the work between teammates, achieve specific goals, and meet specific success criteria in the allotted time.
Fisher
Price Power Wheel
01.2017 - 01.2018
Converted a kids electric toy to a gas powered go-kart using as many original parts as possible
Fabricated completely new frame and motor mount from scratch
Created gas pedal using an old brake line for a bike.
Apprentice
01.2015 - 01.2017
Use many different manufacturing processes to create a human powered vehicle under multiple specifications such as size, weight, and custom wheels

Camp
Camp Assistant
CBU
01.2015 - 01.2016
Take care of high school students that are interested in the engineering field by providing information about the school and the different majors
Each day of camp was focused on a different engineering field with a project relating to each day
They were simple projects representing what each field is like, hopefully providing the high schoolers information on which field they might pursue.
