I was supervisor over the TB program, STD program, HIV program, and HIV prevention program.
For the TB program, I supervised staff, helped with home visits and administering medications. I was responsible for reporting on grant requirements. I wrote evaluations on staff and settled any staff conflict.
For the STD program, I supervised staff and helped in the clinic as needed. I wrote evaluations on staff. Was a liaison between staff and the local county jail to coordinate care for inmates.
For the HIV program, I managed 4 grants that funded the program. I managed staff, wrote each of the 4 grants, wrote budgets for grants, oversaw administration of grant funds. I oversaw staff and wrote their evaluations.
For HIV prevention program, I wrote the grant and budget, oversaw staff and wrote evaluations.
I was in charge of the immunization program. I reviewed every immunization record for errors and addressed those errors. I was head of the peer review committee. I worked in the STD clinic and TB clinic. I also worked in child health and maternity clinics during the times we had those programs. I administered the appropriate vaccines to patients who presented in the immunization clinic. I worked in some epidemiology cases as well. I managed the inventory for the private pay vaccines and the Texas Vaccine for Children's vaccines. I was involved in audits of the program as well. I made presentations to local Vaccine for Children's Program participants.
I worked full time for the organization from June 1996 to June 2000 and PRN from June 2000 to April 2007. I worked on Post Partum and Nursery as a floor nurse and a charge nurse.
