• Collect and analyze student data to develop and implement IEPs and supports for special education students.
• Collect, interpret, and monitor data to implement differentiated instruction in small group and one-on-one instruction for students based on individual learning needs in order to reach all learners at their own level.
• Collaborate effectively with other educators, administrators, and parents to ensure proper implementation of IEPs.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations pertaining to special education services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop an understanding of data collected, instructional resources and best practices for working with ESE students.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly environment conducive to learning focused on academic, social, and behavioral growth.
• Establish and maintain dynamic working relationships with students and parents through active communication and positive feedback to support academic, social and behavioral progress.
• Maintain knowledge of curriculum standards
• Create lesson plans that were aligned with state standards.
• Adapt curriculum materials based on individual student needs and abilities.
• Engage in ongoing reflection on teaching practices in order to improve effectiveness.
• Previous experience providing instruction in all grade levels.

* Supervise teacher candidates and mentor beginning teachers as a trained clinical educator
