  • Develop corrective action plans due to audit findings, if necessary.
  • Served as interim Payroll Specialist, prepared weekly payroll for 75-100 employees, and hired a PR Specialist in August 2020.
  • Served as interim Accounts Payable specialist, prepared weekly accounts payable purchase orders, and/or checks (hired AP Specialist in July 2019).
  • Servers, as HR Manager, prepare and advertise job opportunity announcements, advise on staffing needs and recruit, assist in developing position descriptions, develop and update pay scales, classify positions (exempt/non-exempt), review applicant applications to determine if they are eligible, set up interviews, and prepare employee contracts for new and returning employees.
  • Conduct employee background checks; check federal, state, and local criminal checks; verify college degree(s); verify previous employment; check personal reference checks. Adjudicate employee background checks, and certify applicants for employment.
