Work History

Business Systems Analyst

  • Product Owner: I served as the primary point of contact (POC) for the AWS Electronic File Transfer (EFT) system, facilitating communication between the development, testing, and support teams, as well as business stakeholders. In this role, I communicated new project requirements, coordinated the planning of new efforts, and prioritized projects most essential to the service.
  • Systems Analyst: Acted as lead analyst for the EFT service and supporting analyst for MOMOT OpenShift, Plan Management, and Elective Direct Enrollment services, analyzing and designing solutions for any impacts, risks, or dependencies that would arise from new requirements and cross-team efforts. Utilized SQL to analyze and gather evidence from databases for evidence-based solution designs.
  • Scrum Master: In my capacity as acting Scrum Master for the EFT and MOMOT services, I meticulously documented requirements and devised development/testing strategies for each individual effort, ensuring their prioritization within sprint backlogs. I also facilitated daily stand-up meetings to foster dialogue on project progress and review performance metrics, such as level of effort (LOE) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, I authored technical documentation to serve as user guides and conducted product demonstrations, subsequent to the completion of new projects.

Notable Projects

  • AWS Electronic File Transfer Serverless - Provided support for development design and orchestrated a multi-sprint initiative aimed at migrating the legacy Electronic File Transfer (EFT) system, previously reliant on TIBCO and Oracle DB, to an AWS architecture. This involved coordinating efforts across multiple sprints to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the new infrastructure. During this multi-sprint endeavor, I took charge of leading the design and organizational processes for AV scan buckets, Quarantine file buckets, and the corresponding reporting system. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of a user interface (UI) system, allowing end users to monitor file transfers, and addressed bug fixes for SFTP push transfer logging.
  • Plan Management Service Modernization - Led the analysis effort for the PM URR Modernization project, ensuring a seamless migration of Plan Management services from legacy to modern systems by properly identifying any impacts that could affect the project. Upon analysis, incompatibilities were discovered in the interfacing of the migrated system and legacy frameworks leading to the design and development of a response mimic to maintain existing response sequences, a system for generating manifests to upload multiple attachments, and logic for scenarios without attachments.
  • Red Hat OpenShift Containerization - As part of a multi-service containerization effort, designed, assigned, and assessed test scenarios to determine capabilities and functionalities of separate services within a shared operating system utilizing Red Hat OpenShift. As a result of meticulously defined and designed testing criteria, we were able to uncover and resolve issues with adjustments in role-based access control.
