My primary responsibilities in this role included program initiation, including organizational design, governance and quality assurance methodologies, resource modeling as well as contributing to Release Planning and leading the S/4 Hana deployment team for bp's Whiting Refinery.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Lead the Business and Systems Integration Team (18 staff) that managed the sustainment and improvement of bp Work Management Activity Integration tools (Primavera, Salesforce Work Order Deferral, & Salesforce AIW) along with interface support for eVision Permitting and SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • The team operated globally with team members based in Houston, Aberdeen, Baku, and Jakarta.

Project Manager - Backbone

Managed the deployment of an SAP ECC solution for Asset Management, Procurement and Materials Management, and Finance across multiple Upstream regions in bp to drive project deployment execution to minimize delivery risk and proactively manage risk mitigation and manage integration of new / additional applications to drive standardization and simplification of toolsets and processes. I established and maintained programme governance that is used to assure all issues are visible for key decision support among senior stakeholders. I also carried forward both the hard lessons learned, as well as the successes from region to region as a way to continuously improve our businesses..


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Deployment Teams for bp North American Gas, Gulf of Mexico, and North Sea to successfully deploy the Backbone Solution (PSMC/Finance), and supported Backbone Deployment Managers in AGT, Oman, Angola. (2012-2015).
  • Headed the development of an Integrated Deployment Model and Deployment Org Structure for Centralized Backbone Deployments. (2012 - 2013)
  • Lead Process Team to Design SAP PM Solution to replace Maximo (2015 - 2016)Lead SAP PM Deployment Retrofit Team for West Nile Delta ('16), GoM ('18), Alaska ('19), North Sea ('20) (2016 - Current). In my role for these deployments I was/am accountable for the delivery of the SAP PM solution to the functional user communities in Global Operations Org and Global Wells Org, and also for the integration of this solution to supporting business functions in PSCM and Finance.

SAP Supply Chain Mgmt Analyst / Senior Analyst

My Primary Job Accountabilities in the roles over this 9 year period were centered around the design of a global Supply Chain Solution enabled using SAP, Configuring SAP MM Module to meet the design requirements, quality assurance activities to ensure processes and systems were fit for business use, and finally deploying these solutions across the portfolio of Shells Downstream Businesses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Downstream One - US Fuels IT Country Programme Manager. (June 2011 – Aug 2012). I was responsible for engaging with Downstream Business Leads and Subject Matter Experts for the purpose of collecting all US Downstream specific legal and fiscal requirements which are to be integrated into the Downstream Global SAP Process and Technical Design. I ensure that all requirements are collected, reviewed and signed off by both Shell US Controllers and Legal Counsels. I then oversaw the handover of these requirements to London based Central GSAP Scoping Design Team to drive these requirements to realization. I also have the immediate responsibility to partner with Shell's Global Portfolio Architects group to define the As-Is and agree To-Be Design Target for US specific Connected Applications which must be integrated orenabled to operate in conjunction with the Downstream Global SAP platform.


  • Global SAP Release Delivery Manager. (July 2009 to May 2011). The purpose of the role is to plan and control the scope of work for the Solution Delivery Design and Build teams for all GSAP Releases. This is to ensure that business imperative priorities from Class of Business Process Owners/Architects within Downstream are delivered in a timely manner and are of sufficient quality to support our global business change agenda. I am responsible for working through the Delivery Team Leads and the PMO to ensure the programme is sufficiently budgeted and staffed to deliver new IT initiatives.


  • Sub-Process Lead – Procurement of Goods and Services and Lubricants Supply Chain. (May 2007 to July 2009). Primary role is to lead Functional/Technical teams for PGS and LSC sub-processes (inclusive of PGS: Manage Purchasing, Inventory Management, Master Data; LSC: Inbound Purchasing, Outbound Inventory Management, Production Planning/Quality Management, Product Label Management for Global Lubricants Environmental Health and Safety). My deliverables are to oversee the on-time /within-budget completion of Functional Specifications, as well as Unit and Integration testing of these specifications. I am equally responsible for managing all integration points with Process Owners and 3rd Party application Stakeholders to ensure design is correctly captured by GSAP, and with GSAP Deploy teams to ensure design is clearly understood and correctly implemented at country level. My team and I contribute to all phases of the GSAP Delivery Methodology.


  • Central Deploy Lead for Release 1.1 Hungary, Release 1.2 UK Refining, Release 1.3 UK Marketing and Distribution, Release 1.4 Hong Kong and Singapore. (Jan 2006 to May 2007). Primary roles were to assist Local Deploy Leads with planning and execution of Confirmation Acceptance Testing, and also to prepare local staff for Training, Cutover, Go Live, and Post Go-Live activities.


  • Integration Test Cycle Coordinator for Global SAP Pilot Release. (Sept 2005 to Jan 2006). Primary role was to ensure on time completion of PGS Integration Test Cycles as well as serve as focal point to other GSAP teams requiring assistance from PGS test team. I was responsible for planning all PGS Integration Tests (2 cycles) as well as providing oversight of both test execution and defect resolution.


  • Lead Configurator for PGS Manage Purchasing and Inventory Management processes. (Jan 2005 to Sept 2005). I was responsible for PGS Materials Management initial configuration of GSAP Sandbox and Development systems as required by Streamline Process Design. Also delivered high quality Functional Specification documents for enhancements to GSAP systems as required by Streamline Process Design.
