I've always had a love for construction. My grandpa did it, my dad did it, and now im doing it. Through my years as working as a framer, I've realized I'm drawn to the more fine detailed side of construction. It's so rewarding to just stand back after completing a project that involves so much time and skill to just be so proud of yourself. That's why I want to get into trim. I have also done some big projects in the past such as redoing my neighbors front porch with tongue and groove cedar on the ceiling and PVC on the columns. I've built a modern style shed for my parents from the ground up and its sitting in our backyard now. On the other side I've done more intricate woodwork too such as typical base and case molding around the house, a big built in unit for my sisters room with doors and drawers included, just to name a few. I also have my own small woodworking business (Mindset Woodworking) where I make small things from boxes and cutting boards to big furniture pieces such as desks, coffee tables, and dining tables. Everything I've created has been learned from Youtube videos or self taught.
