I am a patrolman for Johnstown Police Department and have been serving honorably for 2 years as of March 2024. I have been trained in Standard Field Sobriety Tests, Felony traffic stops, defensive tactics, lethal force and deescalation, writing and filing search warrants, and all other duties of a patrol Officer. I served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps first as a Security Force Marine with Charlie Company Fleet Anti-Terrorist Security Team and then with V33 Infantry Battalion. While Serving with the Marines I was trained as a Firearms Instructor and successfully trained numerous Marines in weapons qualifications with rifle, pistol, and shotgun. I attended and graduated the Marine Corps school of Advanced Urban Combat; being trained in breaching, close quarters combat, combined entry, and utilization of specialized weapons such as flash grenades. I am a team oriented professional that is able to take and follow orders or lead a team as needed. I am capable of making critical decisions in high-stress environments and keeping a calm demeanor in order to maintain public safety. I take pride in serving the community and protecting my fellow Americans.
