  • Main project was the construction of 25 miles of Interstate. Responsible for developed grading plans, 31 borrow pit locations, calculated cubit yards for 35 grading zones. Developed spreadsheets for staking of the entire project including field tile exploration, temporary/permanent drainage structures, bridge structures and cone layout, cut and fill sheets, pavement staking, etc.
  • Field as-built of project for final quantity determination submittals to State of Illinois.
  • Managed a staff of 15.

  • During this period received internships with the Illinois Department of Transportation and private consultants. Performed field crew duties, instrument man, and crew chief duties, resident engineer on several water and wastewater projects, performed route surveys across the several southeastern states, row surveys, earthwork calculations, bridge layout calculations, boring rig collection soil samples, soil, asphalt and concrete testing technician.
  • I was used extensively as a utility person able to learn a task quickly and fill in wherever needed.
