  • Correctional Program Officer is also responsible for monitoring inmate’s participation and compliance with personalized program plan or program recommendations and facilitates re-entry preparation.
  • Reentry Specialist (RS): Trained and certified correctional staff person (CPO). Reentry Specialist is assigned to assist releasing offenders. RS met with offenders daily and assist with securing suitable housing, health benefits, SSI/SSDI, identity documents (birth certificate, state ID etc.), housing, sober programming, wrap around services post release, facilitate offender phone screens and facilitate offender zoom interviews.

  • Protective Custody/Special Housing Unit - A form of separation from the general population for offender requesting or requiring protection from other offenders for reasons of health or safety
  • The Offenders status is reviewed periodically in accordance with 103 DOC 422.00: Department Protective Custody Units, by the classification committee or designated group with the goal of terminating the separate housing assignment as soon as possible.
  • In addition, conduct off-hours facility visits for inspection to ensure safety and sanitary conditions are being maintained in accordance with all applicable laws.
