This project afforded me the chance to utilize Avogadro molecular modeling software and PyRx virtual screening software. Through these simulations, I explored potential drug compounds interacting with receptors and proteins found in widely-used herbs like peppermint oil, tea tree oil, and turmeric, investigating their efficacy in alleviating symptoms of eczema.

Collaborated with a non-profit organization on a research project aimed at raising awareness about PFAS (Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances). Investigated the potential health effects of PFAS, a group of synthetic chemicals, and explored methods for environmental monitoring and remediation. Utilized laboratory techniques and analytical methods to analyze PFAS concentrations in environmental samples. Presented research findings at departmental seminars and conferences.
