As a department manager at McDonald's, I oversaw the typical everyday tasks required to run the shift smoothly and efficiently the same way a normal shift manager would. Being that I am the head of the department, I have specific tasks trusted to me that I can delegate to others should the workload require another team member's help. I was trusted, along with other managers, to ensure that each new team member is properly trained in each area, and as time goes on, continues to uphold the policies and procedures we abide by.
