Melanie Maniglia

Creative and versatile theater professional with experience in community theater, film, costume production, and live character performance. Contributed to costume departments for productions including Sweeney Todd, A Pirate's Tale, A Swashbuckling Musical, and Newsies with both Paradise Theater in Faribault, Minnesota, and Little Theatre of Owatonna in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Performance experience includes acting roles in How to Host a Murder Mystery Dinner Party in 15 Simple Steps and Elf the Musical, as well as background roles in independent films including Days When the Rain Comes, Shepherd, and Death by Dissociation. Additional experience includes character appearances for Disney princess entertainment companies throughout Minnesota and serving as a crew member for Minnesota Captain Jack Sparrow.

Possesses extensive self-taught skills in sewing, prop fabrication, basic theatrical makeup, prosthetic design, costume construction, and character development. Completed coursework in stagecraft at Normandale Community College, with a strong understanding of collaborative production processes and a passion for creating immersive theatrical experiences both on stage and behind the scenes.
