Scholarship Committee Assistant - Upsilon Kappa Delta Multicultural Sorority Inc.:

• Created essay questions for high school applicants to demonstrate what multiculturalism and higher education represented for them.
• Organized and ran fundraising opportunities to fund $400 scholarships to multiple students in low-income communities pursuing higher education.

Community Service co-chair - Upsilon Kappa Delta Multicultural Sorority Inc.:

• Created an annual food drive designed to supply families facing hardships due to COVID-19 pandemic with kits that included traditional Thanksgiving dinner items.
• Organized donation sites resulting in kits that helped over 60 families receive Thanksgiving food items.

Nu Alpha Kappa's Children's Carnival and Resource Fair(NAKland) volunteer:

• Helped run activity tents for children in low income communities.
• Conducted games and awarded prizes to participants while simultaneously providing parents with information for financial/educational support programs.
• Used effective communication styles to keep toddlers engaged while also creating a fun environment that promoted the community's well-being.

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Atzlan(MEChA) High School Conference - Volunteer:

• Interacted with students and families to help promote higher education to underprivileged teens.
• Oversaw and guided groups throughout the day as they engaged in various workshops that focused on financial aid, the importance of ethnic studies, and politics.
• Brought awareness to the barriers that exist in higher education while simultaneously providing resources for students to overcome them

U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Volunteer:

• Ran a donation site on my university's campus in efforts to make it possible for children across the US to experience the joy of Christmas.
• Organized a schedule for campus volunteers to assist with the acquisition and storage of unwrapped toys during the holiday season.
