I coached master classes at Ohlone college, which led me to working with older people. I also got to gain more experience as a I coached along side a professional coach who coaches California Dolphin Swim Team. This helped me to be able to gain more coaching skills and be able to coach more older people.
I became a swim instructor during 2021. I have coached all levels and all sort of ages. I also have coached inside and outside the water depending on skill level. I am currently still a swim instructor along other positions such as deck supervisor and a lifeguard.
I got promoted to deck supervisor during my time at Calphin Swim Acadmey. This has allowed me to gain more experience with leading a team and becoming more responsible. I am responsible for the staff on the deck during the shift along with other major responsibilities such as communication with parents and guardians and deck safety protocols. I am currently in that position for over a year now with many new knowledge and skills gained.
For my current job, I have won an award for highest passing rate coach and also most attentive coach two years in a row. I was a four year varsity swimmer at my high school and also a team captain. I have won a gold medal multiple times in my high school league. I was on the record board for my high school during my junior year. I also continued my swimming at my current college and won gold and bronze medals in my league and became on the record board.
