Over the years, I've had the chance to work with kids in so many different ways—whether it was helping them with reading and math, supporting children with special needs, or running activities for groups of kids in after-school programs. What I’ve learned through all these experiences is how important it is to really listen to each child, understand what they need, and create a space where they feel safe and supported. I’ve always believed that every child is unique, and part of the joy in working with them is figuring out how to help them grow—whether that’s through a structured routine, a fun learning activity, or just offering a little extra support when they need it most.
I’ve come to realize that building a connection with children is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m following an IEP, encouraging positive behavior, or simply being a calming presence during a tough moment, I know how important it is for kids to feel heard and understood. It’s not just about helping with homework or keeping them on schedule—it’s about showing up for them in a way that helps them feel secure and valued.
The best part of working with children is watching them grow, whether it's seeing them master a new skill, build confidence, or just have fun. I genuinely enjoy creating an environment where kids feel encouraged to explore, learn, and just be themselves. It’s that connection and trust that I believe is the most important part of helping children thrive
One of my favorite hobbies is getting involved with my church’s youth group and fellowship activities. I really enjoy supporting and connecting with others in the community. Singing for church is another passion of mine, it’s a wonderful way for me to express my faith and be part of something bigger than myself. Both bring me a sense of joy and fulfillment.
