Project & Contract Management: Oversee maintenance projects and service contracts to ensure timely, within-budget completion aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Budget Control: Prepare and monitor operational budgets for designated facilities, ensuring financial responsibility.

Compliance & Safety Enforcement: Review permits, ensure work complies with safety measures, standards, and procedures, and enforce safe working practices.

Maintenance Reporting & Documentation: Develop, implement, and review Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities, while ensuring accurate maintenance reporting and financial documentation.

Inventory Management & System Utilization: Oversee annual inventory, assess material consumption, and utilize specialized systems for optimizing facility availability and minimizing infrastructure costs.

Central Departmental Coordination: Act as the key contact for HC, Administration, and shared services, both internally and externally.

Oversight of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Ensure implementation, review progress, and offer feedback on PPM to the Manager.

Supervision of Discipline Engineers: Monitor, guide, and provide direction to ensure engineers fulfill their defined responsibilities.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit various reports such as monthly reports, equipment failure reports, incident/accident reports, staff/contractor appraisals, including detailed activity and technical analysis for resolving recurring problems.

Service Delivery Compliance and Support: Ensure services meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and assist in non-routine departmental strategic planning.

Supervision of Central Plant Operations: Ensure safe and compliant operation of all processes in accordance with Qatar Foundation procedures.

Equipment Management and Quality Control: Participate in start-up and shutdown of rotating equipment, monitor water and chemical quality in various circulation systems through readings, samples, and tests.

Reporting and Staff Scheduling: Generate daily and monthly activity reports, manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing to meet facility requirements.

Safety Compliance and Site Inspections: Review and approve permit-to-work documents, conduct site visits to ensure adherence to safety regulations, and collaborate on repairs with the engineering team.

Analysis and Improvement Initiatives: Perform data analysis to identify areas for enhancement, conducting inspections and preparing reports outlining improvement areas.
