Mohamed Conde

Working as a security guard at Excel Security Corporation in Manhattan, New York, my main goal is to make sure everyone feels safe and secure. I spend a lot of time walking around the building, checking for anything that seems out of place or suspicious. This helps me stop problems before they start. I also control who comes in and out by checking IDs, and making sure visitors have permission to be there. If there's an alarm or an emergency, I'm quick to respond, following the rules and plans we have in place. After any incident, I write a report to let the managers know what happened, and what we did about it. Besides keeping things safe, I also help people by answering questions and giving directions. I watch the entrances and exits carefully, and I keep an eye on the surveillance cameras to catch anything unusual. I also help new security guards learn the job, showing them how to follow all the rules and procedures. By doing all these things, I help keep our building safe and secure for everyone.
