Refereeing soccer games has taught me how to make quick, fair decisions and communicate clearly with all sorts of players, parents, and coaches. It’s helped me stay calm in high-pressure situations while managing conflicts professionally. This experience has strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills, showing I can be responsible and reliable in any setting.

My name is Mohamed Dalil, but I go by Imran Dalil. I graduated from Shaker High School in June 2025. I’ve played soccer my whole life and spent the past year refereeing, which has taught me leadership, fairness, communication, and the importance of teamwork. I’m passionate about working hard and being a strong team player, and I’m excited to bring those qualities to a part-time job as I prepare to study Accounting at the University at Albany.
