  • Working with a senior research scientist in the Hydrological Sciences Laboratory at Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA, to prepare a baseline hydrological study for small catchments within the State of South Kordofan, Sudan. The hydrological study will leverage multiple state of the art remote sensing data, time series data, in addition to wellestablished suite of tools that include but are not limited to the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) watershed model, and the NASAaccess data toolkit. The hydrological study informed infrastructure development and water resources planning needed for sustainable management of water resources and increased access to water. The study serves as a critical component for the Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) process.

  • Led and managed planning and implementation of the project's activities, ensuring compliance with implementation plans with careful consideration of the logical framework, timing, deadlines, budget, and accountability for results.
    Prepared, developed, monitored, and evaluated sustainability policy concerning project interventions of water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion.
    ⦁ Supervised the KAP (Knowledge, Attitude and practice) and water infrastructure assessment surveys.
    Provided guidance, leadership, coaching, and support for project staff and assessed their performance periodically.
    ⦁ Maintained coordination and close relationship with internal relevant department (program management, procurement, regularly reporting).
    Built and maintained a strong network with a dynamic array of stakeholders and maintained effective partnerships and alliances with donors, government, and community committees that facilitate proper implementation of the project.
