Frontline App - App/website that offers multiple substitute teaching assignments in different districts that Edustaff is partnered with and gives the option to either accept it or refuse/ignore it.
Entering Class - Arrive to class and look if the teacher left any substitute plans or notes that must be checked.
Getting Ready - Be ready and set up (if needed) class chairs and lights so students would enter class with a positive environment.
Directing Students - Introduce self and inform students what is expected from them.
Positive Connection - Communicating with students and setting boundaries
Expectation - Making the day as normal to them as possible with the teacher's absence. Gaining students' respect by using a sense of humor as well as having boundaries when it comes to being kind everyone.
Ending Day - Wrapping up and get students ready to leave.

Greeting Teacher - Entering the class and greeting the teacher and the students in class.
Assisting - Assisting students in improving their skills and increasing their self-confidence and helping them rely on themselves and following the instructions of the head teacher.
Teaching - Sometimes the head teacher relies on me to teach the students a specific part of the subject and help them better understand it.
Observing - Working with autistic students as well as others, giving me a huge amount of experience in how to communicate with each one of them
Observing their ways of thinking through their behaviors.
Disciplining - Students are to be disciplined and well-behaved regardless of their age. Being firm in some circumstances on students is a choice, when the student insists on taking the wrong decision and distracting other students.
Calming- Assist all kinds of students to calm down when one happens to feel stressed or mad; there are students who go through different kinds of issues in/out school, and helping to calm them down when one of them needs a break is a way of bonding with the students.
Finishing Tasks - Finishing the tasks assigned by the head teacher accurately and as wanted.
Wrapping Up - Assisting the students to clean up and wrap up their belongings to end the day successfully.
