- Closely monitor site activities to ensure the quality of survey work done is following construction contract requirements, good construction practices, and compliance with shop drawings.
- Review of shop drawings and ensure their compliance with construction contract requirements and properly coordinated with other disciplines.
- Review of method statements QCPs and ITPs for surveying works as submitted by contractors and ensure its compliance with construction Contract Requirements.
- Review and comment on formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety, and constructability aspects are met with the requirements.
- Familiar With equipment required to be used for field survey works.
- Advise PMC quality and RE as well as the Project Manager for noticed Non-Compliance of surveying works during site Inspections.
- Attend technical meetings with the contractor if required by the project manager.
- Review of Shop/Construction And Final Asbuilt drawings with the other discipline engineers as submitted by contractors.
- Endure those adequate forms are established by the contractor to serve as “Survey Reports” and that these are effectively and adequately used in survey inspection.
