Incidence and Risk Factors for Developing Deep Venous Thrombosis after Isolated Patella Fracture Surgery: A Cross-Sectional Study, Journal of Clinical Case Studies, Reviews & Reports, 2024, 2, 10, 1-4, Abdalgany Al Ahmar, Mohammad Hwafdeh, Abdullah Bani Mohammad, Husam Matalqah, Khaled Nazzal, Ahmad Ali, This study investigated the incidence and risk factors for Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) in 121 patients who underwent surgery for isolated patella fractures. Key findings include that the incidence of DVT was 4.95%, with hypertension and elevated D-dimer levels being significant risk factors., While the risk of DVT is low, it remains a serious complication. Identifying key risk factors can help prevent it and improve patient outcomes.
