- Participate in a 1:6-10 consultant cardiology of the week and non resident on call rota (1:6), including 1:6 weekend cover.
- Attends regular heart failure, Echo, Imaging and coronary MDT meetings at Burton and Derby with colleagues from tertiary centres.
- Carry out general cardiology and heart failure clinics.
- Carries out professional supervision and management and teaching of junior medical staff.
- Participation in the clinical governance arrangements of the Trust & specifically within the Directorate including clinical audit, & research.
