Job Responsibility

• Supervise the fabrication and installation of chilled water and fire fighting piping systems.
• Review IFC drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and method statements before work execution.
• Coordinate the installation of CHW pumps, chillers, AHU/FCU connections, headers, valves, and expansion tanks.
• Supervise the installation of sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, and landing valve piping systems.
• Ensure proper pipe routing, alignment, supports, and welding quality as per project specifications.
• Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower to achieve project schedules.
• Coordinate material availability with the warehouse and procurement teams.
• Monitor spool fabrication, erection, and site installation activities.
• Coordinate hydro testing, flushing, pressure testing, and system commissioning.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, HVAC, QA/QC, HSE, Electrical, and Civil teams for smooth project execution.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance.
• Arrange cranes, manlifts, scissor lifts, and lifting equipment for site activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, NFPA requirements, and approved method statements.
• Monitor installation of pipe supports, anchors, guides, and expansion joints.
• Resolve site clashes and technical issues in coordination with the engineering team.
• Monitor work progress and prepare DPR, WPR, monthly reports, manpower distribution, and timesheets.
• Coordinate inspections, punch list clearance, and mechanical completion activities.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover of chilled water and fire fighting systems.
