My research group at Cal State East Bay is researching with a group of participants who have Thalassemia. These patients' ages range from 17-40 years old and they do not have a very active lifestyle due to their condition. Our goal is to collect supported data and analyze the results to give the participants non-pharmacological strategies to improve their bone density and strength.
