- New Pallet Type Introduction: Designed and implemented a new way to call for any pallet type from the Pallet Conveyor HMI. This eliminates the need to make PLC and HMI changes whenever a new pallet type is introduced in the system.
- Lot Number Recognition: Implemented a solution to allow the operator to take a photo of a LOT number on the Essentia Mineral Skid and recognize the text and update the database and continue a batching process.
- Airbag Project: Designed a plug and play Node Red solution to calculate the distance and the weather for a Niagara customer destination and decide whether the truck would need an airbag or not. Added real-time alerts for the dock door operators to add the airbags to the truck. Tested successfully at 3 plants.
