  • TraySight Surveillance: Designed and developed an inspection system to detect fallen bottles on empty WIP trays to prevent misaligned trays and reduce downtime. Estimated savings of $2.7M annually.

  • Industry 4.0: Actively involved in design and validation of a central data acquisition system to streamline flow of information across the Niagara ecosystem.

  • Pallet Inspection System: Involved in design, implementation, and integration of a pallet inspection system using a LIDAR sensor to scan the pallet profile. Currently having 6 vision systems in production in Rialto.
  • Dasani Batch On Top: Implemented the Batch on Top functionality for Dasani which allows to make multiple batches of the same mineral to reduce mineral wastage. Working to extend the functionality to all minerals.
  • New Pallet Type Introduction: Designed and implemented a new way to call for any pallet type from the Pallet Conveyor HMI. This eliminates the need to make PLC and HMI changes whenever a new pallet type is introduced in the system.
  • Lot Number Recognition: Implemented a solution to allow the operator to take a photo of a LOT number on the Essentia Mineral Skid and recognize the text and update the database and continue a batching process.
  • Airbag Project: Designed a plug and play Node Red solution to calculate the distance and the weather for a Niagara customer destination and decide whether the truck would need an airbag or not. Added real-time alerts for the dock door operators to add the airbags to the truck. Tested successfully at 3 plants.
