Summary

As a BS/MS student, I am currently conducting independent research in an immunology lab and have successfully designed different experimental designs that I am writing my master’s thesis on. Apart from experimental research, as my undergraduate degree suggests, I am passionate about Human Biology and the Health Sciences. I have tried incorporating that into my academic goals by serving as a Teaching Assistant in Human Physiology and performing some clinical hours at the hospital. My goal as a student and a scientist is to do my best in all my endeavors and present my work with the utmost sincerity. I am passionate about scientific research and working in a lab makes science even more interesting and fun for me! I have excelled in academic coursework with a 4.0 in Upper Division Science and an overall GPA of 3.981. However, what I found most valuable was the hands-on research experience that taught me different molecular biology and immunology techniques and basic coding on MATLAB and R studio. My teaching experiences have also bettered my understanding in the related coursework content.
