Member of the Governor's Challenge and Senior Leadership Team for Prevention of Suicide

I am the family representative for the Vermont Governor's Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. This team works in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs and with SAMHSA to identify innovative ways to deliver support to Service Members, Veterans, and Family Members whenever and wherever they need it. It is done by using a public health approach, combining community-based prevention strategies and evidenced-based clinical interventions.

Howard Center's Senior Leadership for the prevention of suicide works on process and implementation for Suicide Safe Pathways of care guidance for our agency. This work includes working with community partners, families, and teams that we provide support services to.
