Taught grades K-5 in a variety of settings including full time classroom instruction, summer school, and home/hospital school.

Was a "start up" teacher at EARTHs Magnet School, an environmental science magnet school. Wrote integrated curriculum to align with our emphasis on environmental science and worked in conjunction with state parks to teach about the environment and provide replanting of native plants after several devastating fires.

Provided instruction and workshops to train other schools/staffs in writing integrated curriculum.

Was trained in the use of Google Classroom and Canvas when teaching remotely during COVID.

Taught a variety of methods classes including Math and Science Methods, Language Arts, Literacy and Social Science Methods. Taught Educational Psychology, Human Development and Action Research/Thesis courses.

Supervised student teachers at my school site. Observed, counseled, supported and evaluated their lessons, organizational skills, classroom management, and interactions with students.

Worked in conjunction with full time professors from Pepperdine University to support our relationship as a Professional Development School.

Taught grades K-6 in a variety of settings including full time classroom, GATE program, summer school and other enrichment/support programs.

Mentor Teacher for elementary teachers in the area of Reading. Organized and created teaching units for District Approved Core Literature Books.

Coached at the high school level: Freshmen Girls' Basketball and Junior Varsity Swimming for four years.

Extensive work with Title 1 students including English Language Learners, low income students, and students with learning disabilities.
