Some of my duties when I was working at Best Buy was to maintain and keep customers satisfied by providing a great experience and knowledge for the products that best suits their needs! I was in a role of leadership as well to make sure the sales crew stayed aggressive with helping the company to reach the goals each day & to provide help and teach some sales employees with product knowledge! As well as, maintaining a clean, trash-free workspace to maximize productivity and safety as well & I contributed to provide a positive workplace environment through strong teamwork!
While I was in FedEx I was assigned the duties to unload & load packages weighing from 5 pounds all the way to 80 pounds. I had to ensure that the packages were properly organized and fit properly into the trailers! I was forced to work in extreme heat as well!
My job consisted of many duties while at Portillo's as such, greeting the customers and making them feel welcomed and part of the environment to provide them the best experience. I took on the duty of being at the cash register, taking customers' orders, and ensuring that they received their orders exactly as requested. I also helped the kitchen by prepping the food when they needed assistance. I did work at this job during Covid as well, they gave me an option if I wanted to work during the pandemic and I chose to do so to continue to help my family and also, the company.
