I am a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Engineering at Florida State University, specializing in the fate and removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in landfill leachate and gas.
I worked as a research assistant, focusing on the measurement and removal of PFAS.
Project #1: Non-Thermal Plasma Degradation of Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) from Landfill Leachate.
Project #2: Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in Landfill Gas Emissions.
Project #3: Fate of PFAS and Other Contaminates During Leachate Evaporation.
Project #4: Fate and Transport of PFAS in Municipal Solid Waste Landfills.
Project #5: Collection of surface water and the measurement of PPCPs.
I have published 3 peer-reviewed journal articles and 4 final reports covering various areas, including landfill leachate, waste management, PFAS measurement and removal, advanced oxidation processes, and runoff management.
