  • Regularly engaged with various cross-functional teams including: HRBPs, Compensation, Immigration, Finance, Internal Mobility, Headcount Management, etc.
  • Member of the Hardware Recruiting Leadership team, focused on creating new best practices for our recruiters as we built our recruiting org from the ground up. This included reporting, recruiter metrics, conference & university hiring strategy, interview training, etc.
  • For the HW Design org, I created a new Hiring Committee since they were having challenges getting specialized Industrial Design candidates through the hiring process.

  • Partnered with Directors and VPs on leadership hires, in addition to industry hiring.
  • Strategized with the business on making key diverse hires when they had no headcount. As a result, I created and built “Women In Cloud” community from the ground up. At the time I transitioned out of Cloud, we had hosted events in Mt. View, Seattle, and New York City.

  • The Executive Recruiting team focused on the top 1% of the company and industry across each of Microsoft’s six business groups.
  • I was the business aligned Executive Recruiter for SMSG (~50,000 FTE Sales, Marketing & Services Group), as well as the Design Leadership pipeline for the entire company. I researched, sourced, and recruited partner level talent for the Design, Services, IT, Operations, Retail & Marketing leadership pipelines.
  • Built external succession planning programs for each business that I supported. Identified key talent gaps/areas of weak bench strength, as well as key external talent against identified areas of concern. Responsible for relationship building, calibration, and recruitment for inclusion into their annual people review program.
  • Co-managed the Talent Scouting program across SMSG Talent Scouting was a program built to proactively seek out and identify external diverse talent that could be leveraged to fill openings, build bench strength, gain competitive intelligence, as well as allow the team to better assess internal talent.

  • Hired 200+ FTEs (full-time employees) since joining E&D in June of 2008, and won an award in 2010 for hiring more FTEs than any other Recruiter in the entire staffing org.
  • Managed two sourcers and built sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals for the workforce hiring plan.
  • After staffing 70+ people for a confidential project which was ultimately canceled, I was responsible for successfully placing 93% of the canceled org internally within Microsoft. Won Gold Star award as a result.
