Founder & Director

The Little Free Pantries Project

My critical thinking skills allowed me to envision, lead, and implement a strategy solution for hyper-local community connection to healthy, culturally desired foods. Using my collaborative leadership, I built community through relationship-focused programming, group interaction, and consensus-based outcomes.

  • Solved the "last-mile" logistical problem by organizing community groups, food agencies, and volunteers to build over 250 food pantries while distributing thousands of lbs of food weekly.
  • Gathered and synthesized data to inform pantry location strategy and culturally desired foods. Mapped city demographics to assist volunteers with understanding cultural communities while working with team of graphic designers to message animated graphics of culturally desired foods on social media channels.
  • Responsible for recruiting and forming board of directors that took on fundraising, marketing, and community engagement. Led process of developing theory of change and mission statement.
  • Supported agency/non-profit internal process to develop a food collection/distribution system for over eight neighborhood pantry networks.
