Summary

Over the past year, I have effectively served as a Title 1 math and reading tutor for 4th and 5th grade students at Summit Christian School. I enjoy deepening my knowledge of the best practices to reach young learners by attending professional development, participating in webinars, or completing online courses. I also love to share the knowledge I have received throughout the years to support other teachers best meet the needs of their students. Many skills gained in education, such as communication, organization, problem-solving, and critical thinking, are highly valued in various fields. 

Experience in education often requires adapting to different learning styles and environments, which is crucial in any job that involves teamwork or customer interaction. I am able to use critical thinking skills to enable problem solving in diverse work environments. An education background requires collaboration and teamwork which is vital in many workplaces. Balancing multiple responsibilities in education hones your time management skills, crucial for meeting deadlines in the workplace. Lastly, conducting educational assessments and research develops the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
