At AlphaBest, I am in charge of an age group for after-school program kids who must stay with us until their parents can pick them up. While there, we do a range of different activities that are personalized to their age group and are fun but also very educational. My group is usually Pre-K through Kindergarten, but I also will help out with the big kids in 1st through 5th grade as well.

I am a substitute teacher for Pre K through 8th grade. I have done various classes and grade levels, but as time has gone on, I have made such good connections with my students and the teachers that they often will only request me. This is such an amazing, honorable privilege to know that the students and teachers specifically want me. While there, I will follow the lesson plans of the teachers and help the children learn in any way I can.

I have been babysitting for multiple families since I was 15 years old. My ages range from newborn to 13 years.

• At North Star Pet Resort, I served as both a lead and a customer service representative. I oversaw the back-of-house operations on certain days of the week, sending updates to owners. Cleaning kennels, doing laundry, and making sure all the animals were taken out and rotated properly. I was also the lead front desk person on Weekends and certain mornings during the week. While working front desk, I was responsible for making sure everything was going according to plan with everyone in the back of house. I was also responsible for checking animals in/out for boarding, daycare, and grooming. Other responsibilities include retrieving vaccination records from Vet clinics, confirming appointments, and answering any questions clients may have had.
