Community Involvement

Women's Shelter: I organized and delivered nutritional education sessions in group settings for women residing at the shelter.

ECFE: Over four years, I actively volunteered with Roseville ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) and played a vital role on the Advisory Council. This experience honed my community outreach, event planning, delegation, and logistics management skills. Notable contributions and responsibilities included serving as the main contact for scheduling and directing volunteers, promoting events for increased community engagement, overseeing event setup and takedown, and coordinating donations for the ECFE Stuff Sale, which contributed to successful fundraising efforts.

Girl Scouts: I led my daughter's Girl Scout Troop. I organized meetings and activities for character development and teamwork, nurturing an inclusive environment. This experience honed my leadership, organization, communication, and community engagement skills while positively impacting our troop members.

Hockey: I have worked with my son's hockey team to provide sports nutrition information and aid in nutrition planning for enhanced athletic success and injury prevention.
