• Provided care for medical and surgical patients; both pre-op and post-op
• Working in IV infusion center. No Chemo
• Cross-trained to Emergency room.

• Staff position in an urgent care setting
• 12 bed clinic
• Teamed on minor trauma and urgent interventions involving lacerations, illnesses, broken bones, and other urgent health issues.
• Administered medications via oral, IV and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Apply custom "Orthoglass" splints as well as braces and DME equipment.
• Triaged patients, called ambulances, and prepped patients to be taken to higher care (ER).
• Drew blood and ran labs.

Acute care: Infant Medical and Surgical Unit

• Staff position on an infant/toddler age medical & surgical floor.
• 46-bed unit
• 1:3 patient ratio
• Floating to other pediatric units.
• Floated to NICU at as frequently as 1 shift/week.
• Trained and served as preceptor for new nurses.
• Held clinical expanded role focusing on best practices, hospital policies, and standards of care around IVs, Central line and feeding tubes.
• Cared for patient's with: Central lines, G-tubes, Ng-tunes, chest tubes, surgical drains, EVDs, PIVs, ostomies, tracheostomies, and shunts.
