GPA: 3.615 Weighted, 4.200 Weighted
Test Scores: I received a 34 on my ACT on my second attempt (31 on the first), and two questions away from a perfect score on reading.
AP, Honors, and Specialized Courses: I have maintained good grades at challenging rigor, while staying involved in school activities. By the end of Senior Year, I will have completed 10 AP Courses, 3 Dual Enrollment Courses, and 6 levels of French Language (French 1-5, and AP). I have also taken PEPI (Physical Education Peer Instructor) twice, and I intend to take it again both semesters of my senior year. This program is a period in the ECS classroom, and allows for me to communicate and engage with the Special Education students at Apex Friendship High School. We play fun games, and work with the students to improve focus, motor skills, and most importantly: make every student feel seen and heard. We also do cognitive activities, such as “Morning Meeting”, and this has been a great insight to me into the world of Special Education and Teaching.
Dual Enrollment: I completed a dual-enrollment course at Wake Tech the summer before Junior Year, and I plan to take two more courses at Wake Tech during the second semester of my senior year.
