Where deficiencies have been noted, verifies the adequacy of plans of correction submitted by facilities and conducts resurveys to verify that the plan of correction has been implemented and the facility is in substantial compliance with regulations;
  • Acts as a resource, educator and interpreter of regulations for service providers and consumers;
  • Answers questions from the public and complainants and explains how regulations may apply to a specific situation. Explains investigation results to members of the public and/or facility operators.
