Summary

I was involved in the start-up of my seminar as a seminar leader and worked energetically on it. In my second year of university, I organized a group of 20 students in the first year with two assistant seminar directors, and in the first semester of my third year, I organized a total of 40 students, including the second generation. Each member of the initial group, including myself, had a diverse opinions, and at first there was a crisis when our opinions and values clashed and the organization seemed to be falling apart. I thought that the reason for this was the lack of a shared sense of values that the seminar students cherished. Therefore, I began by discussing with the other vice seminar directors and creating a concept for the seminar that we could all agree on. This process took many hours, but as a result, we were able to create a kind of watchword within the seminar, and we were able to work hard on our research as a united seminar. The diversity of personalities also made for a creative and strong seminar, and I am proud to say that even now that I have studied abroad, such seminar students are still waiting for me in Japan.

Skills

I am confident in the ability to create a psychologically safe environment within an organization through empathy I believe that creative ideas cannot be generated in any activity unless everyone in the room feels safe to express their thoughts and feelings to anyone Therefore, I have developed an environment where free thinking can be generated in various projects by attending to the thoughts and feelings of others In fact, in a class where we had to create a business plan in English, there were differences in English ability among the class members, and those who were not confident in their English were hesitant to speak up So I did not only insist on my own ideas or listen to the opinions of only those who were good at English, but I also took in the opinions of those who were not so good and reflected them in the project In the end, even those who were not confident in their English were willing to share their opinions, and all team members were inspired to come up with an original and practical business plan I believe that this attitude of being attentive to what others want to convey, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds, can be utilized to create an innovative environment where active and creative ideas can be generated even after employment
