When I first began employment at the Sheboygan Police Department, I was hired as a Records Specialist which included typing incident reports. Since I have been at the front desk my role includes the following:


  • Greeting citizens/visitors and help with their concern/issues
  • Complete animal licenses and enter into correct areas of Spillman and Munis
  • Complete parking tickets and enter into correct areas of Spillman and Munis
  • Answer all phone calls into SPD front desk
  • Take messages for SPD staff
  • Return voicemail messages
  • Read and complete citizen concerns/complaints from the police email
  • Adding and clearing warrants/apprehension requests in TIME
  • Collecting paperwork for missing person/juvenile and entering into TIME person/juvenile into
  • Take messages for SPD staff.
  • Approve beverage and taxi cab licenses
  • Double check Capias slips to be sure person is out of TIME
  • Enter deferred calls, animal complaints, parking complaints, apprehension requests, into dispatch and complete all follow-ups
  • Collect the AM dispatch paperwork and distribute as needed
  • Scan appropriate documents and importing them into the correct incident
  • Balance my Munis batch at the end of my shift
  • Greet CAC families and advocates
  • Track license plates that have been brought into the SPD due to suspension or expired
  • Update dispatch log

  • Print and place DPW permits into the permit binder along with removing out-of-date permits
