It is important to collaborate with the surgical team and are responsible for documentation of any medications given, specimens obtained and sent to pathology and any complications.   • At this travel location I worked as a circulating nurse and a PACU nurse. I did all the same tasks as previously listed as a circulating nurse. As a Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse(PACU) nurse i was responsible for assessing patients vital signs, level of conciousness and overall condition as they recover from anesthesia. Was also responsible for managing pain and providing comfort measures to patients post surgery, including administering pain medications as ordered. During this process would look for any complication that may arise in the recovery process such as respiratory distress, hypotension, nausea and vomiting and treat these conditions. Would communicate with the surgical team and the procide support to the patient.
